Yoga Nidra is a powerful form of deep guided relaxation that anyone can practise where movement is involved, so everyone can benefit. Growing scientific evidence is finding the technique to be a powerful tool to counter anxiety, stress, insomnia and even PTSD.

Yoga Nidra is an ancient practice of the state of conscious deep sleep. It is a simple yet profound technique that unwinds the nervous system and induces complete physical and mental relaxation with inner awareness.

Whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced student, I have a Yoga Nidra class to suit you available as a single 1-2-1, as a group or online. I also offer personal yoga nidra package’s which can either be face to face or can be offered as single video downloads or a series of classes in a video stack for you to download.  I am happy to talk about your needs, develop a programme that meets your personal objectives and supports you on your individual journey.

I also offer special wellness events that combine a physical practice of either slow vinyasa, restorative yoga or pregnancy yoga with a deep nourishing yoga nidra at the end to give you that deeper relaxation.  This is very much needed in our busy lives and supports health and wellbeing as part of your self-care practice.

What is Yoga Nidra?

Yoga Nidra is a state of conscious deep sleep, a simple yet profound technique that unwinds the nervous system and induces complete physical and mental relaxation with inner awareness.

This practice enriches, soothes and nourishes your everyday experience of life. You create the space to lie down, listen and find yourself connecting with all that you are and everything that is.

You will explore your body and breath, using your senses as a means to observe and welcome every aspect of your being, leading the body and mind into a deep state of relaxation.

As the mind and body are led into a state of deepening rest, our brain waves and heart rate slow down, our blood pressure lowers and our central nervous systems shift from ‘fight or flight’ to parasympathetic.

Yoga Nidra doesn’t try to fix anything, instead, through deep heartfelt listening and welcoming, the practise allows many everyday problems of the body and mind to find natural harmony and resolution.

Testimonial
I have had the pleasure of attending many of Kerrie's yoga sessions. Her approach to yoga is very mindful and always with the client in mind. Kerrie's style of yoga is gentle as she goes through her flow ensuring each posture and moment maximises the clients potential to improve. There is a sense of peace and kindness that resonates throughout her sessions. I would definitely recommend Kerrie either on a one to one basis so that she can give you her full attention on your own journey or attend a class where you will always feel welcome.
